Dear Fly Lady,

I recently ordered several of your tools and have been thrilled with the way they work!  I am a stay at home mom to 6 children aged 3-16.  When my 16 year old decided she would no longer participate in the household chores, I knew that something had to be done to help me accomplish hers as well as my own as quickly as possible.

I had been getting your emails, and though I do not follow everything exactly on the day to day suggestions, it has helped me to not feel so overwhelmed by all my responsibilities.  Just doing a little when I’m able definitely adds up!

After receiving your tools, I started the four youngest children on “FLYing”.  After supper they help me pick up the toys, sweep and quickly mop with FLYlady tools.  (once a week would never do at our house!!!).  I had to hand out several rubba scrubba‘s since it was a fight for who would get to use one to sweep down the steps!  My boys, which are homeschooled ask if they can ” fly” before starting their assignments for the day! My little girls like to “tickle” the furniture with the feather duster,  One night, my oldest son decided to tackle the oven with a purple rag.  Totally amazing how the “stuff” just washes out with a little dish soap! The table messes that were overwhelming are so much easier to clean up with your tools.

We just get out your mop when there is a spill at the table or water on the kitchen floor from a melted ice cube,  Thanks so much!  Not only are my younger children learning how to clean up, they are having fun doing it too!  Many hands certainly lighten the load!
