Dearest FlyFamily,

I just want to say thanks for the wonderful job you do for all of us.  I’ve been with you since 2001 and today I had my greatest calendar moment to date.  You see, my best friend and I have 11 & 10 dds.  They use the same orthodontist so we make their appointments on the same day and we take turns taking them as it’s 50+ miles one way.  My friend called Thursday and I reminded her about the appt. as her husband was to take them today.  She was sure I was wrong and had planned to take off Thursday afternoon to take them herself.  I looked at my calendar and said, nope, it’s Monday – I have it written on my calendar.  She was so sure of herself that she had me doubting what I’d done.

We agreed that if the appt. was Monday, we’d get the reminder call that afternoon from the orthodontist as they’re closed on Fridays. Well sure enough – no call.  I just couldn’t get over it.  I was so disappointed.  I called first thing this morning and sure enough the appt. is today!! You see, they had an emergency to deal with Thursday and were not able to make all of the reminder calls before they left for the long weekend.  Can you imagine how thrilled I was?  I know you can, you’ve been there and done that!  I thought, this is what it’s all about.  Having the tool to help the family run smoothly is awesome.  I told my friend that I was so happy that she was wrong – not because I was right, but because I hadn’t lost quite as much of my mind as I was beginning to think.
