Dear Flylady,

I have always had 2 loves in my life, God and my family. Now I’m going to have to add Flylady and purple rags to my list. I am a relatively new FlyBaby and haven’t added a weekly plan yet, including cleaning out my car. A car that I have had since 2011 and have never really cleaned it out, it is just too intimidating right now. But last week as I was getting ready to go out I thought I’ll just grab 2 purple rags, wet one, and clean just one window on the inside every I go somewhere, at least it’s a start.

I now have 8 clean windows for the first time in years. Then today I had to go through the drive thru at the bank and as I was sitting there waiting (it was about a 10 minute wait) I spotted that damp purple rag.. So, I grabbed the damp purple rag (those purple rags are awesome) and started wiping things down. By the time I got to the window to be helped I had a clean steering wheel, dash and arm rest.Now my car is nowhere near anything close to clean but if I keep cleaning things as I go out and while I’m waiting in my car maybe it won’t be quite as intimidating by the time I’m ready to add it to my weekly plan.

Thank you so much for sharing all of your wisdom and experience, not to mention those wonderful, beautiful purple rags (purple’s my favorite color!). There is one thing I’m hoping and that is that you can keep the BOGO sale going thru Aug. 1.

We have a lot of health problems here and I won’t be able to have enough money saved to buy more until that afternoon.
