Retired People Need Wall Calendars, too

Dear FlyLady and Fly Crew,

More calendar comments here. Retired widow with only my stuff to put on the calendar. Actually, was not entirely happy with it. Still need a purse calendar to take to meeting, lunches, appointments, etc., to know availability for future commitments. Didn’t seem worth the trouble to deal with two calendars.

Then I adopted a Dog a month ago, went to a Board Meeting for Friends of the Library. Dog can open the front door locked lever handle! Neighbors found my dog out, no answer at the phone number on the collar. Per tag, Great Pyrenees Rescue contacted (3 hrs. away), sister-in-law in Kenosha contacted (1 hrs. away), Police contacted to do a Wellness Check. Two officers entered and searched my house looking for me!

Then, the concern was that while walking the dog, I had fallen, or had a heart attack, was laying somewhere, and he had come home without me.

So the point is, even if your are a retired widow, still put your appointments on the big wall calendar, so when the Police come in to look for you, they and everyone else will know where you are and stop worrying.

And, people think that life gets boring as you get older! Wonder where that is?

Thank you for all the positivity that you sprinkle like glitter.
