Dear FlyLady,

Little by little everything is a cinch. Little by Little I am learning to Fly. My whole attitude about being able to keep my house clean is gradually changing because I know that it doesn’t have to be perfect AND that I’m not behind. I just need to jump in where I’m at and keep working at it. I have actually made my bed for a whole week and can’t tell you what a difference it makes when I walk into the room and see it looking so nice.

Because I find testimonies from others so helpful, I thought I would share some ideas I have come up with: When I purchased my FlyLady toilet bowl brush, you were having a special. I don’t have a second bathroom, so the (non-toilet) brush ended up hanging on the handle inside my glass shower doors. I keep it there for easy access to use for cleaning the tub, shower walls and doors. The little arm on it not only works great to hang it from the handle on the shower door, but it’s great for cleaning that layer of dust that tends to build up on the top of fiberglass shower stalls. That arm is the perfect size for running along the top and loosening that stuck on layer of dirt.

I also use it to clean the ‘rusty’ looking spots that sometimes form on painted walls above the shower. With the long handle, I can easily reach them without having to get a step stool or ladder. And last but not least…this morning, I also discovered it works really well as a back scrubber!

Who knew that a toilet bowl brush could be such a versatile tool??
