Dear FlyLady,

I have long used old towels ripped up into Rags so when I bought your Swish and Swipe kit, it was for the brush and the vase. I looked at the purple Rags-they were kind of pretty but I didn’t think they’d be any better than my rags.

I washed them and put them under the sink. Two weeks ago we were in the kitchen zone and my mission was to clean the garbage pail. The last time I had done it, it took me forever so it had been a while. I tried the Rubba Sweepa and that was fine but I needed to get in all the little spaces by the hinge on the lid(it is a step-on variety).

I got out a purple rag and said “we’ll see” with a sniff. The gunk came out of the hinge space! I rinsed the rag and wiped the can all over – shiny! I put it out to dry “in a sunbeam” as FlyLady says. I am a convert!
