Dear FlyLady,

I love this thing!  I have several large black utility mats at the back door to my garage and at the entrance to my back door from the garage.   Did I say they’re black?  They show every tiny piece of anything that gets on them and I have a work table out there where I do flower arranging, furniture refinishing and that sort of thing.

In the past, I would take the ShopVac and go over those rugs a foot at the time with the hose attachment and it took me at least 30 minutes to an hour to do all of them, because I would procrastinate until they were covered.

When I got the carpet sweepa, those mats were the first trial and it passed with flying colors!  I can do those mats now in about ten minutes and I now do them more often, because it takes so little time.  I did notice that the handle on the carpet sweepa gets a bit wobbly sometimes and I have to tighten it up, but it works great and I’m so happy to have it.  It was worth every penny.   I’ve been flying for a little over a year now and while my house isn’t perfect, I wouldn’t be embarrassed if someone showed up unannounced.

A Kentucky Flybaby.

FlyLady here: The Carpet Sweepa was made for carpets and throw rugs. We already had a rubba sweepa for sweeping floors. I have even showed you that it does not do well on the floors. It more than makes up for that with the rugs.
