I’ve been receiving your emails for quite a while now, but have NOT been FLYing. I’ve ordered most of your products and absolutely love the purple rags and the new FlyLady Feather Duster.Anyway, I have two weeks of unexpected company coming, starting in 5 days. Panic set in and by God’s grace I got off my fanny, picked up your feather duster and started small. (No, I didn’t wash and fluff it per the instructions yet, but it still works well). I am a bit ADD so I sort of flit from one thing to another, so I went here and there…and got annoyed with myself.

So I put my cell phone timer function on for 15 minutes and tried again. Much better results – kept me focused better.

Here’s the BIG THING!! I have a number of silk/fake plants around the house because I kept killing real plants. I haven’t dusted them in the past 6 years because my mother always said to take a damp rag and wipe EVERY SINGLE FAKE LEAF to clean them off “the right way.” My mind told me that it would take a week straight to clean off each of the leaves. I even pondered throwing them out instead! Well today, I took them all outside on my back porch and went to it with the feather duster! You wouldn’t believe how MUCH dust and dog hair there was!!!! It did a great job and it’s good enough for me!

I haven’t felt this good about myself in a long time and I am still happily cleaning, but I wanted to take a few minutes to email you and say THANK YOU for your encouragement, motivating stories and excellent products.
