Dear FlyLady,

I am new to flylady and I’m working on the baby steps right now. I shined my kitchen sink while my husband was at work. When he came home he said, “What did you do to the sink?”

Thinking I messed it up I started to tell him what I had done. Before I could say anything he said, “It’s a different color” (I’m thinking, ohhh noo)  “I have never seen it look so good!”

(sheww) I have now noticed that he washes his dishes right after use and dries and puts them away. He told me that the sink is to pretty to mess it up with dirty dishes.

I was surprised. I told him about the flylady routine and how I was trying to get everything clean and organized. I was actually really shocked when he wanted in on the plan. He since then has been putting things where they go, our “hotspot” never gets cluttered, and he even started cleaning out his things. This method is really contagious. He sees that I am spending time doing it and he doesn’t want to mess it up. Thank you Flylady!! You have been a blessing to our home.
