Our Calendar is the Center of our World

Dear FlyLady,

I’ve been a fluttering FlyBaby for several years and have shared you with so many dear friends. The gentleness in your approach is what works for me. I’ve decluttered every part of my home and that makes everything so much easier to maintain. I love my spaces.

So much of what I’ve learned from you has had a huge impact on my family’s happiness, but your calendar is one of the biggest. It has become the center of our week. With three active teenagers, we have a lot to remember! EVERYTHING goes on that calendar.

We now look at the coming week on Sunday and my husband and I meal plan for the week based on the schedule. Then we add the plan to the calendar and grocery shop for the weekly plan. Whoever is home is able to begin the dinner prep without having the think, “what should we eat?”. This has been LIFE CHANGING for all of us and we have more time to spend enjoying each other because the planning has been done!

Your calendar is the only one with large enough spaces for my life! The lines help me keep it neat and easy to read! We love it and order a new one every year.
