I’ve been flying since the summer after my second child was born. If you had told me that I could not only survive with 2 children under 2, but thrive, I would have laughed in your face!

I remember crying at the dinner table when my first was 6 months old, because I couldn’t get it together as a SAHM. Then I remembered that my aunt had recommended you when I first got married. I scoffed at some things ( get up 15 minutes before everyone, wear shoes in the house? Madness ) and never did any of it. But as I was dealing with a newborn and a toddler, I had to do something. I knew FlyLady would work, I’m a SHE to a T.

I took babysteps, and tried to adapt your ways to my life. My firstborn turned 3 years old last month. I am completing a post graduate certificate and I am maintaining all the accounting for our corporation. There is no way I could do any of that without you. But more important than what I’m accomplishing, is how I feel about myself and my home. I no longer feel like a failure, even when I fail. My mantra is “progress, not perfection.”

My husband loves you too. I’m no longer dragging him, and the rest of the family, down with me while I play the martyr. May God bless you abundantly for changing families one at a time.
