I just wanted to tell you how happy I am you have made a mini calendar for us. For years I have struggle with making appointments when I was away from my trusty FlyLady Calendar that I kept in the kitchen for everyone to look at and schedule their events.

You see, I had three kids and my husband had three kids and there was always somewhere to go and something to do. When I’d be at the soccer field, wrestling practice, cheerleading, the dentist or doctor’s office I’d write down the date and event on a piece of paper and put it in my purse. Often, I would loose that piece of paper, have to call them and ask for the information and be embarrassed.

I would do things like double book myself or the kids and even forget about it until the last minute.  I felt like I was a failure at keeping a calendar. I know, it seems logical that I should have just bought a little purse calendar but as a FlyBaby I always felt like I should be able to make it work to have one calendar.

Now I know that even FlyLady realizes the problems I had as a mother trying to juggle all the events. My kids are all grown now so you’d think I don’t need to deal with all the dates and events anymore, but I do.  I have grandkids with ballgames, plays, parties and big events I need to attend, so I still need the purse calendar and the big calendar in the kitchen for my husband to be able to see what’s going on and to add his appointments too.
