Dear FlyLady,

I have read many testimonials about the “ah ha” moment. Let me tell you about mine. I have been a fly baby for many years. I struggle with perfectionism, as do most, and never allow the 15 minutes is good enough routine. Don’t get me wrong, so many of my routines have stuck.

I have a sign in my office that says “when you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging “. So at work when I am in the weeds I just do today’s work and some of yesterday’s leftovers until day by day I have tackled the pile and my office is again at peace. Why I couldn’t understand this concept at home totally befuddles me. So about a week ago I decided I was going to do all of today… Make the bed, swish the toilet, do the dishes, sort the mail and a load of laundry AND I was going to do something, ANYTHING, that was left from the past… And little by little things are coming together. Totally amazing when it slaps you in the face… Lol.
