Dear FlyLady,

I know you must get overwhelmed with email, but I hope you find time to read this. It all started a few months ago when my (step) daughter in law , Jodi, posted on Facebook that she really needed to get her house organized.  I remembered a time long ago, when a friend had mentioned Flylady, and I even dabbled with it a little, but that was before Facebook and the emails, and it quickly went to the wayside. I knew my daughter, Alicia, was in the same boat, as was I.  I started a Facebook message group with both of them, and asked if they wanted to do this thing with me. I signed up for the emails, as I knew they would overwhelm Alicia especially. I explained the daily missions, and they  both said they were game.  I share the daily mission each day, and we often share before and after photos.  We have all had the occasional day where we are just too tired to do the mission, and we support each other.  We often say, “you aren’t behind, just jump in where we are”. Thank you for giving us those words!

After a few weeks, I started talking more about the daily routines, and swishing and swiping.  Jodi has 4 kids, so we got them involved with a family responsibility chart.   The 2 year old loves to swish the toilet with the pretty purple swisher!

A few days ago, Jodi randomly sent a photo of her shiney sink and said, “This makes me happy”!

I am happy with my house, but more importantly, I am so happy that I have been able to share you with my girls, and love seeing the progress they have made!
