Dear Marla and FLYTeam,

How has FLYing changed my life?  May 1st this year will be 15 years that I’ve been FLYing and I’m looking forward to celebrating it.

Have I kept up every day with FLYing and never fallen back?  Of course not.  But perfection is not the goal,  and I know that I can jump back in any and every day,  and some of the habits you’ve taught have become so automatic that I almost don’t know how to do it any other way.  To lose the perfection obsession is a life-changer in itself,  and I see every day how it can undermine and sabotage me.  Thank you for teaching us that!

I’m using this month to get back to some of the basics that I’ve been neglecting.  The great thing is that once you’ve used the FLYLady approach, even if you drop off for a while,  you know exactly how to get back on track:   shine that sink,  declutter that stuff,  get back to those simple routines,  and read the FLY e-mails to help stay motivated.

So,  15 years later (and I still remember that May 1st when I saw a reference to you on another website and thought….hmm, should check this out)  THANK  YOU for all you are and all you do.
