I am excited that the Basic Cleaning System arrived this week. I bought it because of the extendable handle and washable, re-usable cloths.

When is it best to use the Chenille Microfiber Mop Cloth and when to use the microfiber cloth that was on the mop head?

I was so excited I dunked the mop head as it came into my bucket, squeezed out as much water as I could, then proceeded to wash the floors, but too much water was left on the floor.

I removed the microfiber cloth, rinsed it, squeezed out the water, and put it back on the mop head with the smooth side out. Used that to mop up the water. If I want to pick up the dust from my hardwood , Marmoleum, or tile floors before I wash them, which cloth should I use? Chenille or Microfiber? And which side should I have out?

Since we got our new chenille mop cloths; I use them exclusively on our floors. Those little fingers picks up all the debris on our floors from the dogs and cats. I use it wet and skip the step of dust mopping or sweeping. Have you watched my video? It does an amazing job. Right now we have a big sale on the Chenille Mop Cloths. They are half price. I use the chenille mop cloths every day when I do a quick mop while the coffee is brewing. They do a great job and save me lots of time.

The smooth cloth comes on our mop. Both the chenille cloth and the smooth micro-fiber cloth are great for getting up spills, but you already realized that. Here is another use for the smooth cloth. I like to use the mop to clean my windows. Then I flip the cloth and keep cleaning. I alsouse the smooth cloth to shine up my floors after I have done them with the chenille mop cloth. I usually use a little Windex on the cloth to shine the floors.

I don’t really get caught up in which side does the best. I let go of perfectionism a long time ago and now I just celebrate that the floors are done.
