Dear FlyLady,

My DH often works the late shift- he doesn’t get home until after midnight.

I am the one that gets our daughter to school most days & I have to be at work at 8am.

Our answer to the “Bed Dilemma”?

I “Tuck him in” when I leave for work. I make my side of the bed when I get up, then when I’m leaving, I come in, give him a kiss goodbye & pull up the covers around him.

When DH gets up he just slides out & I come home to a nice neat bed ready for an after work rest.

The ritual keeps us connected & helps keep the bedroom neat.
