I just had to share my new favorite laundry trick.

We have a new front load machine with a ton of extra features. The basics were obvious, so of course I didn’t read the instruction manual.

When my de-cluttering came to the laundry room, I decided to look through it and learn about the extra features I haven’t been using before filing it away. Low and behold, I found the greatest little button – delayed start.

I don’t know how many times I’ve put off starting a load because I wouldn’t be able to move it to the dryer right away, only to forget about it entirely, or started a load, forgot to move it to the dryer and had to rewash it.

Now I’ve added tossing a load in to my nightly routine and set the timer to start an hour or so before I get up, and in the morning I toss it in the dryer.

No more spoiled clothes, no more delays, and one less mid day trip up the stairs (I have a toddler and a mischievous 8 month old puppy, so believe me when I say that one trip is significant!).

I love that little button!
