Dear Flylady,

On May 1st, 2004,  I came upon a reference on another website to “decluttering like FLYLady”  and thought,   hmmm….sounds like something I could use.  So I logged into FLYLady, joined the group,  and life has never been the same.   Lots of times I’ve tried going without it,  but I always come back because IT WORKS.

Right now,  with lots of pandemic adaptations to make in my life, which has actually gotten busier,  FlyLady’s routines have been a huge help.  I can adapt and extend their reach to take care of the stuff that’s “extra” right now.   It makes it less daunting and…actually fun.

This week I had a lot of extra office work projects (I work at home) to take care of and they really took most of the week’s workhours.  I was about to try to play “catch up”  with cleaning  and then remembered  that piece of FLYWisdom  NOT to catch up but just jump in.  This foils my perfectionism every time and keeps me sane.  I”m glad that stays at the bottom of all FLYLady posts.
