February Habit #10 I Can Still Declutter

IMG_5644Dear Friends,

February is Declutter for 15 minutes, and we are going to take full advantage of our time. Monday through Friday this month you will get a new Declutter Mission that follows the Zone we are in. If you have a declutter story or an idea that you have found to be useful please send us an email with MY DECLUTTER STORY in the subject line!

Hi Flylady,

Ugh!  I’m having another bout with my chronic condition today…cramps, diarrhea, chills.

But not to worry! I can still declutter!

I am purging cookbooks. I slowly look through each one, select those 3 to 5 recipes out of each cookbook that wouldn’t be too time-consuming or contain too many ingredients or steps, and that sound delicious. I photocopy, then put the book in the donate bin. The recipes are placed in my 3 ring binder in a protective sheet.

So, I am going to park on the sofa, with my blanket and a cookbook or two, and declutter!

50 cookbooks to go. My declutter routine is one a day…it takes about 15 minutes.  I got rid of 63 already.

After that, it’s magazines that came in during the holidays that I actually want to read.

Then my bookshelf, which is overflowing.

This is great fun!
