February Declutter Mission: #2 Zone #4

IF you have books and papers around your Bedroom and bathroom now is the time to go through them. Get all the old newspapers and books that have been read, and bless someone else with them. For some of you this will be a major process so make good use of your timer!

Decluttering is an ongoing battle in my house. At one point I became so overwhelmed with the clutter in my daughter’s room that it seemed an impossible task. I would start a 15 minute decluttering session for a few days and then lose momentum. I did come up with a couple ideas that really kept me motivated and on task. First, I took a before picture of the room (a total mess)! Then I decided to separate the room into quarter sections and spend my 15 minute sessions starting at “noon to 3” and working my way around the “clock”.

Once the room was decluttered my husband painted the room her favorite color- purple!

Finally, I took the beautiful “after” photo!!
