Several months ago, I decided to try to walk whenever possible. I live in a downtown area, so I am able to walk for a number of my errands. While I haven’t walked every single day, I have managed to walk at least 5 times a week. Coupled with making better dietary choices, I have watched the pounds melt off.
This month’s habit of moving every day has made me even more aware of the importance of staying in motion. When I get even a small amount of exercise, I sleep better and have much more energy. The slimmer body is a wonderful bonus.
This morning, I celebrated by decluttering my closet. Once I had the house to myself, I went to my closet wearing only a bra and panties. I tried on just about everything in the closet. If it didn’t fit well, if it was no longer fashionable, or if it didn’t make me feel beautiful, out it went. Goodwill will get several LARGE bags of clothing. I will get more closet space.
I don’t have the time or money to join a gym, but by making these small changes in my life, I have made a huge difference in how I look and feel. To other FlyBabies: I know it may not seem like 15 minutes of moving will make a difference, but I am living proof that it truly does. Keep it up!

Do you need to jump back on the FlyLady Wagon? In May we will be going through this book; CHAOS to Clean in 31 Easy BabySteps.
This book will help both our new FlyBabies, and our “not so new” FlyBabies (like those who are “jumping back in where we are”).
