Dear Friends,

This week we are continuing with our holiday plans. We all know that if our home is in order we are freed up to plan and play, so on every Monday, we are going to concentrate on our homes. Here is our Holiday Basic Weekly Plan. Our Holiday Cruising Missions that will coincide with our regular Basic Weekly Plan.

Monday : Weekly Home Blessing Hour with a little extra Fling to get rid of the clutter. I am calling this day Clean and Fling! We have to continue to practice picking up after ourselves in order for it to stay looking nice. You know if you feel overwhelmed by your home, the holiday planning gets tossed aside because of our perfectionism. So let’s stay together on this one. Some of you may want to incorporate two Weekly Home Blessing Hours each week. This will help us stay on top of the clutter and don’t forget to keep your hot spot put out!

Tuesday: This is my day to do something fun, even if all I have is an hour! I am calling this our Plan and Play Day. Now I know we don’t have all day to do this, so just grab a notebook and start jotting things down. Then you can start playing with your plans. The fun part is when you implement them. A little planning now can save a lot of steps later.

Wednesday: Is always anti-procrastination day! The holiday season is no different. We will use this day to do those things we always put off. You know those cards and letters as well as placing orders for gifts. We usually wait till the last minute and have to Fed Ex them at high freight rates. NO MORE!!!

Thursday: I am calling this our Go and Do Day. You are going to have to adapt this to fit your schedule. I like Thursdays because my sweetie plays chess that night and I don’t have to be home at any certain time. You can plan time with a friend and help each other with the children. You may have to do it on your lunch hour: Whenever you do your errands. Get creative and block out some time to run around.

Friday: We call this one; Budget; Don’t Begrudge it! This is the day I pay bills and it is the time for us to look at what we have spent and keep on track with our budgets. Gift buying can get out of hand especially if we wait till the last minute. Take a few minutes to jot down your spending habits even if you don’t want to look at them. Put your receipt in one spot so you can make any returns that might be needed. You will be glad you did when one of your gifts doesn’t fit. Even go as far as to write the name on the sales receipt so you can include it with the gift if you have too.

Saturday: Family Fun Day: We are not about to forget about this most
important time: Plan excursions with your family to do things together. Pick out pumpkins, and trees. There are lots of things to do if you will check out the newspapers together. Harvest festivals are everywhere. Enjoy the fall leaves and get out for a hike.

Sunday: Renew your spirit Day will continue as always. We will be giving you pamper missions so you will take care of yourself during the hectic days. Then when December gets here, you will be able to enjoy your Holiday Cruise without the stress of the past years.
