Dear flylady,

I have been getting your emails for a few months now. I have always been a messy person, and adding in a husband and 4 kids hasn’t helped! I haven’t mastered your methods, but have been reading the emails and keeping what you say in mind. It is amazing how many things are just rubbing off on me! Now it would seem weird not to make my bed, before I only made it once a month if I was doing good. My sink is clean half the time, which is a lot more than never. I swish and swipe a few times a week so the bathrooms are never embarrassingly disgusting. And I have filled our garbage can up every single week for the last 2 months with the clutter that has been weighing us all down. My husband cooks more because there are clean dishes and space to work. My 14 year old daughter said she feels relaxed at home now. My 13 year old can find his own sports gear. My 11 year old does her own laundry because the washing machine is open. My 7 year old loves dusting with your feather duster. A cleaner house makes everything run so much smoother and the cleaner it gets, the better it gets. It is a positive domino effect and you gave it the first push! I don’t follow the schedule very closely, but you still motivate me and keep organization at the front on my mind. From the whole family.
