I have been incorporating some of your suggestions for a few months now. At 57 years old I’m finally learning to keep house. My sweet mama is a doll but she was the type that it was always easier to do it herself than stay on us girls to learn how. That said, I had shined the sink, swish & swipe, laundry, dressed to shoes, mostly mastered, when a few months ago my sciatica started acting up.
I went from a flare up to out n out constant pain for 3 weeks to surgery. My DH has been amazing! He has kept the sink shined, the laundry done plus the cooking & everything else in addition to working 40-48 hours a week, while I’m recuperating. Thank you for the encouragement to do just what I can. It’s going to be months before I’m back normal & it may be a ‘new’ normal for me. It’s ok. I’ll adapt as needed.
