Dear Flybabies,

I have been flittering and flying, flying and flittering for a few years now.  Some habits have become routines and some not.  I faithfully wear my shoes and I swish and swipe.

But the most important thing I have learned is the power of 10…. 10 minutes.  I have degenerative disc disease and cannot stand for long periods, but boy can I get a lot done in 10 minutes.  I love my Flylady timer.  I have timers on my phone, tablet, stove, microwave, etc., but the Flylady timer goes with me and reminds me what I’m actually doing – either cleaning or decluttering.  I am constantly amazed at what I can accomplish in 10 minutes.  Ten minutes busy and ten minutes to rest.  I don’t have a dishwasher, but have discovered I can usually finish washing dishes in ten minutes (admittedly, I live alone).  I can swish and swipe both bathrooms in 10 minutes or less.  Ten minutes on a hot spot sure makes a difference.

As I said, I love the timer; but I also love my pink and silver rags.  The pink is for pampering me and the silver for everything else.
