Last week we focused on making a spot in our home or office a comforting place to be. This week I would like to focus on getting out of the house. Sometimes a change in scenery does our spirits good. I particularly like to drive around in the beautiful scenic areas of my city and nearby state parks. The beauty of nature soothes my soul.
Perhaps you feel renewed by visits to art galleries, or a few hours spent browsing through antique shops, or maybe browsing through books in the big comfortable chairs at a local bookstore. Think of a place you can go that will make you feel happy and relaxed. Maybe a place you haven’t been in a while, because you “haven’t had time.”
Time spent pampering yourself is time well invested. You ARE worth it!
