It’s important to take advantage of the little moments of time that are often overlooked to do mini pampering missions. When we’re beginning to feel overwhelmed, it’s time to stop what we’re doing and take a few minutes to regain our sense of balance and control. One of the easiest ways to do this is to monitor our breathing patterns and tension in our muscles. Concentrate on relaxing your facial muscles, clenched teeth, and tight shoulder and neck muscles and then breathe in slowly and deeply through the nose and out through the mouth. Just a few deep breaths like this can do a world of wonders when the cares of this world come crashing down upon us.
Pampering missions don’t have be to time or labor intensive or costly. They just require a little thought and care in regards to your own well being.
