Dear Friends,

It’s time to give ourselves a little pampering once again. You’ve worked hard all week and you deserve it! We’re focusing on really taking care of our hair, skin, and nails right now. Those little things that make such a huge difference in the way we feel about ourselves and being kind to our bodies. Summer’s elements can be pretty harsh on them and it’s time to whip them back into shape! Between swimming in harsh chemicals and laying out in the drying sun, our skin can take a beating over the warm summer months. Luckily, I’ve got a cheap and easy way to give our skin the “spa treatment” at home.

And all you need are these two simple ingredients:

1/2 tablespoon grated cucumber
1/4 cup plain yogurt

Mix the two ingredients together until you have a thick liquid. Apply to your face and leave on for 30 minutes. The mask will tighten and harden a bit. After 30 minutes, rinse off with warm water.

Your face will feel amazingly refreshed! I told you it was cheap and easy.

*If you are allergic to either of these ingredients do NOT use them on your skin. Some experts say that anything you put onto your skin is absorbed into your bloodstream and can cause a reaction. And you really don’t want to be the guinea pig test subject to find out right?! My sister happens to be allergic to cucumbers. (She ate so many of them as a kid that she somehow caused herself to develop an allergy to them! LOL!) So, she definitely won’t be trying this one.
