January Habit #25 Difference in my Attitude

Dear FlyLady and Crew,

I am a 58 yr. old Flybaby who has been fluttering since Jan. 1, 2011.

Is my house spotless? No! Does that worry me? Not any more!

In the last year I haven’t always done the zones and my morning and night routines aren’t always per*&($ (that horrible “p” word), but here is what has become so routine I don’t even know I’m doing it most of the time.

I shine my sink, do a swish and swipe, and make my bed every day; I lay out my clothes for tomorrow every night; I do a load of laundry almost every day (depending on need, just 2 of us in the household).

What a phenomenal difference in our house and in my attitude!

I grew up with a wonderful mom that would leave 3 days worth of dishes in the sink and take us walking in the rain, or on picnics along our creek. However, when we cleaned, it was a marathon…..this is how I learned to clean. How stressful and exhausting!!!!

Am so thankful a friend from SD kept posting about FlyLady and babysteps on FaceBook. My curiosity got the better of me….WOW! I will be forever grateful to FlyLady and crew and my friend for helping me establish peace in myself and home.

Thanks, FlyLady!!!

Sally, a Wyoming FlyBaby
