Dear FlyLady,

I’ve never written a testimonial before; although you’ve change the way my family lives for about 5 years.

I just need to share a conversation that I had with my 6 year old, DS. He has been working very hard to ride a “two wheeler.” He’s finally riding, and pedaling up and down our neighborhood street, no training wheels.

One day when I was standing in the garage, he rode up to me and said, “Mom, I think we should give my bike with the wagon on the back to Jeannie. That way, lots of kids will get to play with my bike.” (Jeannie has an in-home daycare that all four of my children went to. She has been helping raise and loving kids for 30 years).

He has really loved that bike and it touched my heart that he thought of giving it away and was willing to share it with others. We loaded up the bike, and drove to the daycare.

He had such a big smile when Jeannie thanked him. Thank you for teaching me how to declutter so I could pass it on to my children.

Who knew it could bring such joy every time I see a child riding on that bike?
