Dear FlyLady,

I took my first BabyStep 18 days ago and shined my sink. Since then it has been shiny every day. I’ve slowly added to my daily routines and have made my bed everyday. What a difference I feel when I walk into our bedroom. It’s so welcoming at bedtime! I no longer wake up to two sinks, and a counter top covered in dishes. I’ve have been baking more (which I LOVE) because I don’t hate being in my kitchen. This is a huge deal to me because the kitchen is actually what made me fall in love with this house when I bought it.

My husband works in the oilfield so he is away at work, out of state every other week. He comes home tonight!! I can’t wait for him to see the house. I used to save up the major cleaning tasks (laundry, dusting, vacuuming and mopping) for the day he was coming home because I wanted everything to look its best when he arrived. What a nightmare that always turned out to be! Since started my BabySteps, our home is so much cleaner. The best part it, I honestly don’t feel like I’ve been cleaning at all. I get so much more done 15 minutes at a time. 🙂
