Dear FlyLady,

Oh my goodness, where do I start?  I suppose the first place is to thank FlyLady herself.  Your motivation and inspiration have got me moving.  The day I found you I followed your suggestion and went directly to put on my shoes.  That evening I shined my sink.  Next morning I smiled!  And “dressed to lace up shoes”.  I started to read about your Baby Steps and read your emails and learn about 15 minutes at a time.  A few weeks after I joined you started your May video chats and I followed right along.  Easy-peezee.

I realized how easy this all could be if I just let go and did ‘something’ and that was good enough.  I started building morning and evening routines and even made a list (of course because I’m an unorganized perfectionist) of daily routines including a “load a day”.

I very soon ordered my Rubba Swisha and miraculously was swishing and swiping with ease.  After a little while I thought I’d treat myself to a Carpet Sweepa to clean my area rugs but love to use it throughout the house, only needing to pull out the vacuum once a week for my Home Blessing.

Now I was so impressed I knew I just had to have a FlyLady Mop.  The day I got it, I tore open the box like it was a gift and put it right to use just like the other tools I ordered from you.  My house is far from clean and uncluttered but at least I’m moving in the right direction.  I’m hoping I can learn to focus and stay at something using my timer while not obsessing and trying to get everything ‘just right’.  Baby-steps, baby-steps.

Well I haven’t been (insert the “P” word here), fell off the wagon while I had a bad bi-polar attack, but in the back of my head I could hear you saying to jump right back in where I was and it would all be fine.  Gosh, to my surprise it was.  I even started walking my handsome Tennessee Mountain Cur, Marvel every morning.  We are both loving it.

If it sounds like I’m gushing, I guess I am.  I’m so thrilled to have found you.  You and your products put some fun into blessing my home and in turn blessing me.
