Dear FlyLady,

When I was a little girl, one of my jobs was to clean the bathroom.  There were 11 of us, and that little room got pretty nasty. The only advice my mother ever gave me for getting the job done was to use plenty of “elbow grease.”  Unfortunately, I had no idea where she kept it.  I searched among all the cleaning supplies in the cupboards and cabinets, but try as I might–I never, ever found it.  I was so very frustrated!  I mean, if that’s all I need, why not GIVE me some????  (I was a very literal-minded child.)

BUT, my first purple rags arrived yesterday, and I have to tell you–it’s like I’ve found that magical can of elbow grease!  These rags work WONDERS–with so very little effort!  I’m cleaning just for the pure joy of cleaning, brightening up my home, shining my little world, and having the time of my life.
